Are you reading anything at the moment?.... 

 

 

Currently I am reading The Green Smoothie Bible by Kristine Miles...

 

I was told to get some more vegies in me and those who know me will tell you that it is an impossible  but as I need to I thought I would try this...

 

Actually it is quite a good book I am learning a lot I didn't know about vegetables and getting healthy... 

 

 

This smoothie doesn't look like it has spinach in it does it but yes it does and you cant taste it either which is how I like it he he he .....

Childs OwnStudio...Part 1

Child's Own Studio is the business owned by Wendy who is a talented toy maker....

Actually I think she turns drawings into feature heirlooms...

The above pictures is an example of Wendy's work...The child's drawing is on the light and then Wendy turns it into this wonderful soft toy...

I love her work and while I missed out in 2011 as it was the middle of the year when I found her and her waiting list was closed..

2012 I missed again the waiting list  so I was determined to get  on it the next year on guess what I DID......I actually put my name down twice to make sure I could get the dolls I wanted......

The above dolls are what is being made....

One of the drawings is a picture I drew when I was 4years old.There is one that Kerry drew at age 4.
The LM gets three softies,one of the Honda one of Kerry with Jaxon in her tummy(wonder how she will do that one ha ha ) and one of himself and dog dog the other is a mermaid that Annaliese has drawn...

So the drawings are in Wendy's hands  I have accepted the quotes and now the wait is on to see how these turn out ...

Its been a long wait but I am just so happy that I can  finally see the light at the end of the tunnel...

Mixed up photos Friday 37

Hi friends

Hope your week has been good I have had ups and downs so I haven't got as many pictures to show you all this week ...I hope  you enjoy the ones I do have though...

                                 Kevin's granddaughter Shakira....such a little cutie...

                                                       Another cutie is my niece Makayla....

I'm back on the shakes this one is mixed berries,yogurt, milk  and baby spinach and don't forget the chaia seeds....It does taste yum and thankfully I cant taste the spinach because if I did I wouldn't be drinking it...

        Little Princess Lilly looks worn out here ...she makes my heart swell when I see her...

Princess Lilly and her beautiful mum Talia .....I can remember seeing Talia after she was born so it feels weird to see her now as a wife and mother ....she is doing great at both....

Love these two heaps my beautiful nephew (who is also the LM's big brother) and his gorgeous daughter Chloe....

                                 Mum my dad John and Chloe....she is like a little doll so cute...

What have I been crafting lately

I have been using up lots of bits in my stash lately so I made up these frames for some gifts....

                    My first digital scrapbook page....I really love how this turned out....

I made another phone cover I just took a photo of some bits and pieces and sent them to Vista print and then Ooh la la it come back all nice and pretty...

Making more candles which is good as I have some orders plus it makes my house smell sooo nice...

Turn photos into water coloured paintings .

Do you have a photo and think gee this is so lovely well if you have a iPhone you can join the latest craze with this app called Waterlogue...

You put your photo into the app and then it changes it into a beautiful water coloured painting...

The effects are great...

Its just a little bit of fun  and I think the effect I even printed some onto cardstock and used the for cards to send some friends who just loved them...

The Christening

The Royal Christening was nothing compared to Prince Jaxon's....

Kerry worked really hard to get every thing perfect this was really her first big event that she was hostess at and she did a great job....

The Church was beautiful and we went to the house before hand to see the Godparents dress Jaxon ..
The service was really nice as well...Jaxon was so good poor bub was hot though but still manged to smile...

Everything about the day went perfect I was so happy for the three of them as this was such a special occasion...

We went to a lovely Italian restaurant in Liechart called Grappas where the had booked it out for lunch the people there were just perfect....

Kerry  had a colour scheme of light teal yellow and white  and it all looked perfect fresh and matching.....Gee I am so proud of my girl...

Another thing Kerry did was have a children's table with puzzles pencils and origami for the kids to do ..Big hit even LM who doesn't usually like this loved playing there...

Emmanuel and Kerry made the macaroons cupcakes and sugar biscuit's.I did the cake pops in one way it was lovely to sit back and let her do it all in another way it way sad kinda like passing the sword to the next player....

It was a lovely day and we got to catch up with family and friends Emmanuel's family was lovely and really made us feel welcome..

So to Kerry Emmanuel and Jaxon thanks for a wonderful day....love you all

Mixed up photos Friday 36

Hi friends

Lots happening this week so I only have a couple of photos to show ....but wait till next week....

                                         Big highlight this week was Jaxon turning one...

My beautiful new Amoire....this was my best friends Jan's and you all know that she passed away well her girls were packing up their family home anyway I feel in love with it again after seeing it years ago and Jan's beautiful girls gave it to me ....I am going to treasure this piece of furniture so much..

 

My crazy darling Brie attend the Sydney Mardi Gras.Not only did she attend she helped build the float she went on...Good on you Brie...

 

Our little Annaliese also got into the Mardi Gras action no she didn't go but she did get to try on her mums head dress ....There was a Showgirl her name was Annaliese...

Our little niece Chloe gee she has grown such a little cutie....

 

      My boy looks so innocent and sweet here...pity it all changes when he wakes up ha ha
