Yeah got my lounge room back

I hated our old lounge with a vengeance it was Kevin's before me and yuk....

So it has only took me 12 years to get rid of it and get the new one I've always been looking for one but could never fine the right one  ....

But now I have.....

The lounge is a lot smaller its just a three seater but I bought another wing chair to match the one I had...

I also bought two lamp tables to fill the room and omg why had I never thought of this before I love them....

SO because I bought the lamp tables I needed the lamps....

I got these from Freedom and the are gorgeous and give the room the look I want...

Now Kevin needs to put a power point in so I can use them...

 This is the end where I sit so I have my favourite bits near me...

Oh my wing chairs are beautiful...

I recently painted this table so I moved my white chair over to here ....Now I want curtains for this window ha ha .

Poor tired Kevin moving or this stuff around especially when I keep changing my mind...

Loving me two wing chairs they look beautiful...

I even bought Kev  an ottoman from Kmart for $29 looks good as it matches everything...

So YEAH my lounge room is almost finished.

But I am happy with it now....

Recently I took a photo of Jaxon and decided it was one of my favourites of the pair of us..

Something in the back of my mind sparked a reminder of a similar photo of me so mum sent  me  a copy of the photo...

Well here I am  and I am about the same age as Jaxon....

Anyway for fun I put them together in a little collage and the results surprised me...

Jaxon does look a bit like me....

OK it may just be that we are laughing but I think we look alike what do you think?

Engagement Invites...

I was quite chuffed when Mel asked if I could help her with her invites and save the dates for their their engagement party.....

We didn't have much time to do a photo shoot so I made this Save the date  for her to send out as the party is in December we wanted to give everyone notice  of the event...

Mel is having mauve as her colour so I added the mauve hearts and she bought the envelopes to match....

I love how these look....

Mel bought the laser cut invites and I did the  printed bits including the same mauve hearts .....

It was weird doing it as I like a certain font but as it was Mel's it was up to her but lucky she liked mine....

They were printed on a beautiful shimmer paper...

They are having a wishing well so she gave me the verse she wanted and I made them so we got 8 to a A4 page...

We gave them to Mel so she could do the part of putting them together and tying the ribbon on them...

Even the LM got in on the fun...

The completed invite looks beautiful ....

Aqua Golf

We decided to do something fun on Sunday rather than stay at home do gardening and cleaning so when the LM said Aqua Golf we all said OK...

LM loved it ...

He has been before but I don't think he remembers  too well....

Kev was very serious and hit the ball quite good ....

Love this shot.....

LM  was so funny he kept changing the way he held his club sometimes he had it like a baseball bat

 

Then he decided to hit two balls in quick secession....

 

Anyway we enjoyed ourselves had a laugh then we went home to the real world ha ha

I love Pic Monkey and use it for making invites to editing photos and such...

Recently I found this feature on Comic Heroes where you can turn a photo into a drawing ...

I did one for Jaxon which I really love....

But the LM's is unreal......

So fast and easy to do , what do you think...

Fridays Bits n Bobs 1

I have lots of photos that I would love to share but they don't warrant a whole post so I am doing something different  and on Fridays Ill show all my Bits n Bobs hope you enjoy it....

Kev made this vase for our future daughter in law Mel she loves it and here it is at their house..

I bought these bits from Typo but didn't like the colour it was blue....

Spray paint changed it to yellow YES !!!

First lot of Christmas balls for the year.....

I don't like blue but I do like this colour....

A lovely parcel of handmade goodies from my friend Amie....

Just love the ice cream soaps and the LM loves his reindeers....

Kev went over to see Wyatt  the other day.....

He is such a little cutie...

I have started going into hospital every three months for iron infusions....

It was crap I felt sick as afterwards  and three weeks later I don't know if it is working...

I made some candle gift sets up for orders....

Feeding Fish

On the weekend we called into the Fish Hatcheries...

We have called in here quite a few times as we enjoy it and the LM loves feeding the fish...

The fish are huge and the pond where he was feeding was all female fish...

I just love the colours of the fish...

LM picked out his favourite and said he will come back to see if it had grown...

Kerry and Jaxon came to visit on the weekend and I took some photos of Jaxon...

OMG he is growing up so fast...

I see Kerry in him so much....
