fig tart

Figs you either love them or hate them.
Me I hate them.
Kev he loves them..

I found this recipe on Pinterest but I cant find who put it there.

Well who ever you are thanks very much my husband really enjoyed this recipe.

To make this you will need......

A couple of figs I cut mine into quarters.
1 sheet of puff pastry.
Oregano leaves.
1 tablespoon Honey.
Baby spinach.
Black pepper.
1 tablespoon olive oil.
Gorgonzola cheese..

Heat oven 180c
Defrost your pastry and cut in half.
Put a piece of baking paper on a tray and place your puff pastry on it.

Spread each piece of pastry with the Gorgonzola cheese - boy does this cheese stick ha ha
Sprinkle with some oregano .

Place pepper honey and oil in a bowl and mix./
drizzle half of the honey mix over the pastry's

Bake for about 10-15 mins

Cut your prosciutto into strips and place on top the pastry along with some baby spinach.
Now drizzle with the remaining honey mixture.

Kevin really enjoyed this as a snack.

I think it would be nice if they were cut into smaller squares like bite size for party's.

But boy did that cheese smell....
