Easy Peasy Lolly Jars...

I feel almost guilty posting this one but the idea is so great I wanted to do it...

We had a school fete on Saturday and they had a cake and lollies stall well I didn't feel like making cakes so I made these little jars and filled them with jelly beans...

All I did was glue some little plastic animal toys that I bought from the Reject shop onto the top of a jar lid.I just saved and washed my jars so I had a few sizes.

Once the glue was dry out came the Rust Oluem spray paint and they all got a got in some really great colours.

When dry I just filled the jar with some jelly beans Now how easy is that ....

I have seen these in kiddies room with other little bits and pieces in them and they look wonderful...

Imagine them at Christmas after they had been sprayed with glitter paint how cute how nice for teacher gifts with a little gift in them......I cant think at the moment but there is so many ideas on what to glue on top and fill them with ....I even thought of doing some of the little Lego men with a couple of blocks and spraying them for the LM's room..(not real Lego but the cheap knock off)

Any way hope this post may inspire you to make some for yourself or gifts...

  1. I'm thinking those little bottle brush Christmas trees, with some home made Christmas Candy inside. Cute. Could even use ball jars I suppose....but I love the painted lids. Adorable.
