Last year first day of school.....
I have enjoyed having him at home but OMG he is so ready and wanting to go back to school though so I guess it has to happen...
This year all grown up and a big boy now in Year One...

Hair -CHECK geled and spiked....
School uniform -CHECK all name tagged and ready to go....
School shoes-CHECK- all polished and waiting...
Lunch box- CHECK- filled with yummo snacks for a starving 6yr old boy
Teeth-CHECK nice and clean...
School bag-CHECK- all school supplies tagged and ready for use...
Camera-CHECK- ready to capture the moment....
Boy- CHECK- dancing and running around the house in excitement...
Mother-CHECK-sitting in her room holding a hankie drying her eyes...
Father-CHECK-trying to get this circus on the road...
Big smile......

All grown up indeed. It is exciting times for lots of kids this week. My littlest starts Monday. Not expecting to cry but maybe I will.

ReplyDeleteLook at how much he has grown over the year. So cute with his hair styled and his uniform. I hope you will do this for each year. Then make a book of the photos for his graduation. BTW I forgot to comment on that lovely white cabinet. I would love that in my living room.
ReplyDeleteIsn't he just the cutest? The smile of a child eager to learn is great way to invigorate fellow schoolmates. How's he now? It's somewhat inevitable that a child may have trouble with one or two of his subjects at one point. When it does happen, getting tutorial services would be of great help.
