Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

My wonderful Mum came down last week for a few days ( I am so lucky to have a mum like mine ) and one of the things we decided to do was go and see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.....

The LM and Kev and I sat down last weekend and we all watched the movie just so LM would have an idea of what it is all about ......He love it .... so I thought yeah....

I need not have worried because he really enjoyed the show.At one stage he was being a conductor to the music  (he looked so cute )...He told mum that Pedro (her dog ) would love this movie so he would let her take the dvd  home so Pedro could watch it...

LM is looking a bit worried here.Sometimes when he is going somewhere new the excitement turns to worry.I guess that is normal though with all kids.He was a bit worried about the child catcher getting him but when we were seated I said loudly "child catcher dont get LM" it seemed to work although when he did come out he held onto mum very tight.......

Mum and LM....I don't know why she is standing like that?

Me and my boy....

Look at the LM's face he was so excited .He thought it was going to be the movie and got such a shock when there was 'real people '....

Weird photo but I wanted to show this beautiful theatre. The chairs were just like seating in your lounge room so comfortable.

The walls are  all stunning .Just looks so beautiful.these photos are just not doing it justice. They look like candles but it wasn't but the whole effect just added to the magic of it all.

"Want some Popcorn Nana?"

"no" good more for me.....yum....

A very happy little boy....

This picture is from the stage show. They made it look so good and it was very true to the movie...

If you can go and  see this  take the kids our LM really enjoyed this and is still singing the songs (so are we )ha ha

I guess a classic is always a classic...

  1. The photo of the flying chitty looks so real. I'm glad LM got to see it live. This movie was/is one of my favourite childhood memories. It will be one of LM's as well.
