My Neice Chloe

When  my mum was down for a few days(when Jaxon was born) my favorite nephew  Chris came down with my equally favorite great niece Chloe  who LM is her Uncle....Do you understand anything I just said ? ha ha Chris is almost 30 and he is the LM's brother ....you follow ha ha ha

So of course it was photos everywhere cameras flashing  you know one of those days"quick take one of Chloe with mum and take one of LM with Chris ,Wheres Gail she needs to get a picture taken "photos being taken everywhere....

I bought from Woolworth's a couple of dress up outfits....The out fits were totally unplanned but who can resist a cute photo shoot....A pink and white bunny  suit for Chloe and a bumble bee  suit for Jaxon  (i knew I would have to put it away for at least 6 months or more  but it was just too cute not to get)

The LM helps Bumble Bee to the garden.Check out her stinger isn't it just the cutest.And for $12each  how could you go wrong.

 Gail (my sister ) and I dressed her up first as a Bunny.....OMG so hip hoppity cute......when mum and her Chris  saw her they couldn't stop laughing so I then put her in the garden for more photos .

The LM just loved Chloe as a bunny.The outfit came with the long floppy ears and I had the other pink ears.I don't know which pair of ears I prefer..

The photos turned out so beautiful then  I remembered that I  have a little mermaid outfit lets try  that and take photos near the pool....

Once again so beautiful....a beautiful little mermaid....

 Guess what I only took 230 photos that day -not bad hey.......Plus mum took nearly that much as well but hey they were worth it .......

Our Grand daughter turns One...

I have been not well the last couple of days and so I haven't done much blogging either by reading other  blogs or just reading my comments and   putting replys  on my blog. 

 

Any way Mitchell  (Kev's son and his partner Tealea ) are slack where photos are concern ......but then again arnt we all....

I keep asking for some pictures of  Shakira and they are like yeah we well send them but the ones we have arn't that good.  I don't care I just want them.........

Well I finally got some and I can't complain (can I ? ) some are a blur but at least I got to see what our Little Grand daughter looks like as she turns  ONE......I cant believe that last year on April 2nd our little girl was born....

 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR BEAUTIFUL GRANDDAUGHTER SHARKIRA........

We may not see you as the distance between us is great but we do think of you all the time and Pop (kevin) misses his little Angel and can't wait to see you again.

Hopefully it will be before you turn 2 ha ha ha.Also big kiss to Luca we miss you as well.

Can you believe it my little baby is 4 weeks old tomorrow...

 

Time has gone so fast. Kerry sent me this today it is Jaxon's first smile.That's Emmanuel tickling his face.

 

I know I am biased but God he is so cute....

 

Sorry to you guys I am going to be a pain showing him off but then again I am sure I bore you about the LM and Kevin,its just that I love them so much..

Little Easter Bunnie

             The little suit really fits him so well.Oh I am a bit sad though -his belly button has fallen      out boo hoo my little baby is growing up

            So how lucky am I .....I have the LM who is a bundle of mischief and cheekiness.

And now I have this little angel...... wonder who he will take after mum or dad?...-If he takes after Kerry he will be a quiet little man-If he takes after Emmanuel well that's a different story......Apparently Emmanuel was a little chatterbox ...

                                Watch out Kerry you are going to have your handful.

I can't forget my big baby Kevin......He is cheeky,naughty, a chatterbox and guess what he is MINE...

LM's First Easter Hat Parade.

Today the LM had his first Easter Hat Parade and guess what I was SICK.....not just little sick but mega I am going to die kinda sick...

I was so upset as this was his "first" school function and I didn't want to dissapoint him by not going..
Like this is the  first time he gets to show us his Assembly and OMG I feel rotten.

I had to get Pam (my sister in law) to take him to school.Then I thought if I have a shower and do my legs (change my dressings)  and just rest maybe.......and yeah maybe I could win Miss Australia...

Kev called to  check on me.... I felt yuck but a bit better  but I couldn't drive no way and let me say the school is at the end of my street......So my wonderful Knight in shinning Armour came to my rescue once again....

Kev came home and took me to the Easter Hat Parade.

 

So she and sweet looking.....

 

I am going to treasure this picture.Look how cute he is ,this is shy LM see how he has twisted his sports shorts.

                        At the risk of offending thousands of other kindergarten boys this year.

One of my favorite blogs that I love to read is The Love Supreme .It is written by Mardi and is a really nice blog to follow,bits of craft ,family cooking,Kinda like visiting a friend.

Well recently she did a post on Stuck on you- who make personalized labels and gifts.
Anyway Mardi had 3 x$30 gift vouchers to giveaway by just leaving a comment on her blog.

I just left my comment and thought no more about it.

BUT!!!!! then I got an email from Mardi saying I was one of the winners.

How great is that.!!!!!!

I ended up getting a jigsaw with Jaxon's name on it....so cute.I was going to get the  stationary set for  LM but changed my mind as while I liked the pencils on closer look the activity book just wasn't what  I wanted so I  just got him the pencils which I know LM will love.....

 

 

The above pictures are examples of what I have ordered....Really happy with my choices.
I cant wait to get them .....

Photo fun with Jaxon

When mum came down last week it was great.I was sick off and on but I still got to spend some great time with her.

We have this on going joke in our house that when mum comes for a visit I get sick and go to hospital.Stupid but true...

On Thursday  we went to see Kerry so  mum could meet her new Great grand son Jaxon..Mum fell in love with him....it  was really  great  seeing them together...

We did not get our 4 generations photos as Jaxon was very stressed.So I said we would get it later.

My sister Gail also came over for a visit so of course we had to have a photo of her and Jaxon.He was asleep so Kerry wouldn't let us wake him up so Gail got to hold him later though...

I took down some bits to take some cutie newborn photos.

Didn't work out the way I had hoped.

Kerry was a bit stressed Jaxon was stressed I got stressed just looking at those two.The only calm ones were mum and Emmanuel.

One good thing was we got two nice pictures.....these will do for a start.

How cute.... he is smaller than his bears......(not for long though.)ha ha

I love this one in his tonka dump truck.I wanted him to be a bit higher up in the truck and also put him on his side.But like I said he was stressing out and Kerry .............forget it.....no chance

But  Kerry has been good and took the first picture of Jaxon in a onsie with newborn on it.1 down 12 to go ha ha

Gee I am lucky I love my family...xxxx
 

Sports day

I give up......
When LM started school we were told that they have a  sports days but kindy kids did not need sports clothes or shoes....

Ok I am fine with that.....

Then 2 weeks after the kids  started school we get told kindy kids need black joggers and sports shorts..
What!!!!

Get it straight will you.....

Being sick as usual I couldn't go to the shops so I looked at Target on line to see what they had.I manage to get these "Crusty Demons" joggers for $29 and they sent them to our store for pick up no charge.In all it took 5 days.I wasn't worried if they were crap because I would just get a refund but I need not worry because they are great.
Kev picked up the shorts from the uniform place-no problem...

I took LM's picture wearing them on Sports day check out the face he gave me....

Just want to crab him and smother him with kisses ha ha

So I guess I have just had my first experience of schools telling us the "night before"syndrome
Great 13 more years of this crap

Phone fun...

WARNING...these photos have been taken by a 5year old on a mobile so some are not the best actually there is one really scary one so if you are easily upset turn away now.....but hey it's a part of our family's history so I love them...(well some of them )ha ha

I never wanted an IPhone but finally got one around a year ago and now  I love it.Apps!!!! dont get me started....

Well that's a bit of a fib I like the phone but love the camera.Sometimes it is just too hard to carry a big camera around where as the phone is always in my bag.

The LM loves to send texts on my phone which  I let him do if he has had breakfast and is ready for school.

OMG the messages he sends are so cute.....He says hello and some other readable bits but then he just copies words from anything (last week mum got a message from him all about Bonds men's undies.....ha ha ha

Now LM loves to take selfies ( well he just loves to take photos of any kind on any camera) and he loves  to take pictures of a certain person in her nightie looking like death pulling a face.I told you it was a scary photo....

God that picture would scare the dead...but I guess that is how I look in the morning (and afternoon and night ha ha )

Yes I could kill him but then again I let him use the phone.Plus some of the pictures he takes are quite good...

Even though they are a bit blurry I love these.

When Kerry was little I wouldn't get my photo taken as I thought I was too fat (I was ) too ugly no I wasn't going to get a photo taken looking like that...But when I am skinny I will get lots of photos taken.I have been saying that for nearly 30 years....

Well now that has all changed.I realise now that who cares how I look it is more important to have the memories  whether they are good or bad...

I really get upset when I realise how I have missed out on so many pictures that I would dearly love to have and to cherish that now when a camera comes my way I just smile ( well  actually it is more of a grin and bear  it look) .

Sometimes they are good sometimes they arn't but then again they are the truth and it's my life...

White ruler

I love my ruler that I made but I didn't like the way I did the numbers...

 I used a sharpie and drew  them on but while it looked good I wasn't entirely happy with it....plus I thought it was a bit dark as well..

So off Kevin went to Bunnings to get me another piece of wood and while he was getting me that piece  I thought he may as well get another  piece so I could make Kerry one as well...

Well Kerry has grey walls at her house so the wood stain just wouldn't suit so I did hers white.The white turned out really good...

Nice and fresh with the black numbers.

I stained mined a bit lighter this time so I was very happy with how it turned out (second time lucky)

For the numbers on Kerry's  and mine I got my dad to get me vinyl numbers from where he gets his from (dad makes clocks really great clocks)

 

I have to thank Kev heaps as he marked out the measurements for me and did the letters as I  don't like doing that sort of thing..

Well both rulers have turned out great......I am a legend  (Kev is too xxx )......I am a fool  true true true but I am now a fool with a great looking ruler ha ha ha

Easter is coming

Well Easter is fast approaching and unless you have been living under a rock you would know that...

Well say hello to rock dweller Dee....

I really didn't realise just how close it was what with all that was happening around us at the moment.

Last year we had an Easter tree and had a few little ornaments around and it felt nice.and urgh!!! don't look at the dust in my tv cupboard I am lazy and only dust the front part not behind the tv but you can be assured that I will be doing from now on-how embarrassing....

 

I bought most of my ornaments from Bed n Bath which has a great selection and great prices.This bunny is from the Reject shop a couple of years ago.The little train set above is this years Bed n Bath.

 

I couldn't resist this bunny ....I saw him last year and thought I would think about it and then when I went to buy it-all gone sold out...Crap...

This time when I saw him I thought your mine and you are coming  home with me now.....

This is our Easter tree....

A couple of sticks painted white and then decorated with beautiful little eggs from the last couple of years.I am just building up my stash abit each year...I just put the leaves in as well to fill the vase top but actually I like the contast with the white sticks.

Our tree may not be the biggest or decorated with diamonds (what a stupid description-I hope you know what I mean though) but it is our tree, and LM thinks it is the most beautiful tree he has ever seen ...that was his words cute hey...

I am going to keep a look out for sticks I like better or maybe a little stick tree but I am not in a hurry as we all love our tree....
