12 Days of Christmas 6

On the Sixth day of Christmas my true love gave to me...
                       Six Silly Santa's
                       Five golden balls...
                  Four  old tree branches...
                 Three Christmas cookies.....
             Two Beautiful Christmas cards ....
and a baby hand print ball

The LM and I had fun making these little beer bottle cap Santa's if you have kids or even just for your self you should try it...

I got the idea to try this while reading this great blog Paisley Vintage  she had a post on some handmade Christmas Ornaments and it looked interesting so I decided to do this one. I wanted to do more but boy I was pushing it just to do this one...

This would have to be another Easy Peasy craft  a few minutes to make each one.

The longest part was spraying the beer bottle caps (thanks Kevin)  white I spray both sides because it was Christmas usually as any one who knows me will say I don't do the back of anything...

After they are dry you are ready to roll and roll like a snowman you will....OMG excuse the paint fumes ha ha

Cut your ribbon into lengths and fold over a loop at the top (for hanging) and glue it down.

I used my hot glue gun and ran a line of it down the middle of the back of 3 bottle caps...I did this part so the LM didn't burn himself..

Just make up so ribbon bows I had bit's of red so that is what I used.

Glue your bow on and add a little button for some extra bling...

And now the fun part....Using Sharpies  add all the little details black for eye dots mouth and buttons ..we used orange for his nose but I didn't think it stood out much so some were done in red sharpie.

Hey pretty flash with the falling snow ....wish I knew how I did it because I have no idea ha ha ...

This one has a red nose not the orange as it stands out better....You could use paint but I thought no cant be bothered I want them finished NOW not having to wait for paint to dry...ha ha

Even Sid the Elf liked our Little Silly Snowmen..This is the name that the LM gave them...

No that's it...What I have done is only basic decorations you can do any thing you want to make them special. One extra thing I did when I was glueing them to the ribbon was put a little glue in between each cap to hold them together. You can see my glue and if I was taking my time I would have done it neater but the LM loves these Snowmen and that's all that matters....
