Personalized Iphone covers

Today I received my IPhone covers that I made for myself and a couple for gifts......and I am so impressed.

So we have to go back in time till last month where this all started from ...

I saw this post on Under the Sycamore where Ashley made her own phone cover.I wish I had thought of this idea but sorry I didn't but I am glad Ashley did ....  I love Ashley's cover so much that  she has given me the push I needed  to make one for myself...

This is Ashley's and where I got the inspiration from....

I checked out the site where she had done hers from but I thought they were too expensive and I couldn't see if they send to Australia so I let this idea go on back burner for awhile till I could find somewhere.

Then one day I just google diy phone covers and a couple of sites came up I checked them out but still the price was $30-$40 plus postage and that I thought is too much finally I saw a familiar name Vista print.

Yeah I have used them before a bit  and they are quite fast and I don't mind what I have got from them so I went to their home page. The covers started at $15 plus postage and then I remembered that I saw a coupon from one of the email sites I get offering bargains for a Vista print offer.

The voucher was for me paying $15 and you get to spend $75 dollars on Vista print products.

Done....
Bought....
Now design my cover...

This is what my design looked like when I took the photo of it....

So I got out some trims and dollies and fabrics like Ashley had done and took some photos.I found two I like but just chose one I don't need two covers and I liked this one the best anyway....

Then I thought how about getting one for Kerry.I knew she wouldn't want a crafty one like mine so I picked one of my  favourite pictures of Jaxon and did that  one for her on her cover.

                                                My  finished phone cover....LOVE IT....

I also decided to make a couple of others to use up my credit for gifts so  I downloaded the pictures on Vista print and ordered a couple of other bits I wanted  and smiled at how good they looked on the computer  and crossed my fingers that they would  look just as good in person....

                                                           This one is for Kerry.....

This one is for Brie of her daughter Annaliese.

And last one is  this one  for Pam with the picture of her two grandsons Zeke and Trey....

Well they are just as great in real life .... they are really good quality and I cant say it enough but these are great....it took about 10days from when I ordered them till they were in my hands.

Just had to show you mine once again....it is so cute I LOVE it.............
