Anyway

I had a wall with 4 little pictures on it in my entry way hall.This is the first thing you see when you open the front door.

I didn't  think it was finished.

I thought of ordering 2 more prints but then I thought no...

Then i remembered a blog where I saw a picture frame wall hanging and it looked great.,

I liked this. idea -now to find a frame.

The secondhand shops here think they can charge heaps- forget it..........

Well I finally found a mirror  in Go-Lo for $30 that I thought was about the right size

                                                                     It was .
                        So Kev dismantled it and painted it the same colour as my wood work....

                Then he hung it up(I helped as I held the frame)-it was still wet as I couldn't wait for it to dry..ha ha

Temporary Australian

A temporary Australian that's what Kev calls kids and motor bikes.Well we now join this club.

Kev's youngest son has always  been mad about motor bikes but luckily we just said we had no room for one so we got away with having to let him get one.

Well it's all changed now.Ashley has joined the above club and bought a road bike.

It's big (he is not) it does look good and Ash does look all drown up in his gear but

I warned him no midnight police calls,behave no being stupid on it oh my list went on and on.I also congratulated him on saving hard for something he wanted .

He looks so grown up...

I told you it was big..

Don't get any ideas Kev.

Little Man's new Scarves

I wrote recently about my wonderful mum making some knitted scarves for the little girls ( who just loved them ) in soft pink.They were so beautiful.

Well the LM got upset cause they weren't for him.I told him pink was for girls he was ok with that but he wanted a scarf....

So what is a little boy to do?  BUT call his  Nana and ask her for a scarf for him.

LM told Mum he wanted a green one then he said a blue one......

Now mum knows I hate blue  with a vengeance( and 90% if LM clothes is red/black and grey..)..and green-well I hate green sometimes ...

So what did his WONDERFUL Nana do?

I am sooooo cute in my scarves-Just look at me.....

She made a blue one   AND a green one...........

Yeah I am cute yeah yeah yeah .....That is what the LM

            Thought I would be good and cook the family a baked leg of lamb for dinner YUM.....

Doctor woes

            Today I had to go to the doctors for my monthly supply of pain killers.
While there I was telling him about how sore one of my legs is getting and about the fevers and chills I get and that it is very worrying.

So he decides to have a look (something he doesn't normally do as he is just my GP and I am under care of 2 Professor's) anyway he flipped.

This is where he wants me to go .....

Yep that's right.

He wants to admit me into hospital for a week or more  put me on a  drip and he said I can RELAX......

Well I said NO NO NO NO and No 

I see my Professor next week so I will wait and see what he says to do.....

My GP did a swab so results will be back on Saturday so depending the result I may just be in hospital RELAXING ......Aren't  I a lucky girl. ha ha

A smile for Monday

                        Today no whingeing -Today I don't care if I am in pain or not.Today no talk of death....

        What matters is this little boy and the beautiful smile I got when he left this morning for school....

Such a little cutie....(when he wants to be.....)Today's friends are Dog and puppy,Tony tiger who likes to talk all the time said LM.and last is  Spotty girl,Yes we know Spot is a boy but in our house Spot is a girl.

Spotty girl and Tony tiger are best friends.This is what LM  told Da today..

So I have printed out a copy of this photo and every time I feel down or want to just cry I look at LM's smile and it does make me smile to.

At least that is a start...

Dee's whinge

I am whingeing tonight although nothing can be done about it but I am just so angry I have decided to

 "POP".

Now I am sure you all know the LM situation,While he is my sister's son due to drug and other problems Doc's stepped in when he was 7 months old and took him off her and her boyfriend,

Well Kev and I put our hand up for him I mean this is my nephew and I knew as soon as my sister told me she was pregnant that I loved him and that one day the baby would be mine.(She had already lost a son who is now 27yrs)
Well we went to court and blah blah blah don't want to bore you  but the LM became ours till he is 18yrs.

We "share" the responsibility with docs (CRAP -where are they when LM wakes up screaming at 2.00am or when he is so tired he is unbelievably naughty or who cleans the dirty nappies and vomit...)yeah we share him alright.

Docs says jump we go ok how high.

Anyway I am so angry -this week LM's father was to have a visit.

That's ok.He hasn't seen the LM for almost 2yrs due to being in  jail .

Well this visit has to take place in Wollongong where the father has another child who was born while he was in jail.This sounds like Days of our lives.........So now the LM has to see both Yep the court says LM has to see this child and devolop a sibling relationship.....Yeah you can do that on a total of 12. hours a year visits.
We have no say in this as well.

My gripe is the LM had to travel 2 hours plus down there spend 2 hours for the visit then 2 hrs plus trip home all this in 40 degree heat.Note that Doc's didn't supply anything for LM to eat or drink and even used our car seat...

The father who I spoke to on Monday -I asked him to bring LM a sandwich and I would supply LM with drinks and snacks ,Well he didn't get him anything ....It must be hard to remember to buy a $2.00 piece of bread with vegemite on it for your son...BUT!!!! The poor father I shouldn't be mean because  Docs paid for a room in Wollongong so he could travel down and relax in before the visit next day...Yep thats right he got a room paid for so he didnt have to travel down in the heat and  could have the visit...

DOES ANYONE UNDERSTAND THIS OR AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO SEES THE JOKE  IS ON ME AND KEV.

We had to put up with a tired hot little boy when he came home-but thats ok his father would have been well rested.

I can't do anything about this unless I want long legal battles and I wonder why I get sick with crap like this happening to us.

I just want the LM to be loved and have a happy NORMAL drug free childhood  which he is by us and to be brought up by our rules We treat him as our own  and he thinks we are mummy and daddy .....

So sorry about this whinge but I just feel it's wrong and why do we put up with it- because I will die if they take my boy off me.

He is my little baby and God help anyone who says different .

Ha ha ha she is whingeing again isn't she.....

Me I hide with Da  when she goes on and on  ha ha

Some old bits and bobs

I haven't been right lately sick and just thinking so I have left my blog alone.

I have  started 3 scrap projects  this week plus countless unfinished ones all untouched I just can't do it or look at them.

I started cleaning out my craft room and then stopped and now  it has been a serious mess for over a week now which is not me.

Don't know what is going on.....

Just not my normal self -can't get it together....

But had a big think over today and I am going to try and  do things  no matter how little they are.


.No use sitting around being sick and willing  myself to die.

The tadpole in the pool again.......

This is my front door from the inside.LM has now got a habit of opening it

before I get there so Kev put it on to stop that and also to keep him in.

Yes the is a deadlock door.

Our friend Cody .I worked with his mother Alison and became good friends with them

Anyway Guy ,Alison and the cutie Cody came over .He is soooo quiet not like LM.

Except LM was so well behaved.He was gentle to Cody didn't YELL and was a pleasure.

No my worst nightmare comes true.

We never ever let LM in the pool be himself,  Someone must be watching him the whole time.

I have a problem with parents and pools and those who don't worry about the kids...makes me sick.Even if Kev is outside with LM I still kept checking on them-it only takes a second.

Plus remember LM has been having swimming lessons since he was 8 months old and is very confident in the water but that dosn't change a thing he still gets watched

We have already had LM fall into the pool  and because of lessons he was able to come back up and swim to the side and hold on,We were in the pool yard gardening at the time

So his swimming lessons saved his life.

While we were having our great Sunday yesterday this happens.......

I was inside and had my camera looking for LM who was outside with Kev, anyway LM didn''t know I was "watching no it wasn't stalking him ) Then the LM sees Kev down in the pool shed  -
So what does he do???

He goes and gets a chair from the outdoor setting and drags it over to the gate(now i start taking photos because i was unsure what he was going to do ) and he precides to 
                       
                                                                  OPENS THE GATE....

I tell you I nearly died .I stood there just looking at what I had seen when luckily for me (because I dont think I could have spoke )Kev was at the gate -he saw what happened and boy did they have  a talk about it.....Poor little fellow Not the LM I was worried about poor Kev -Oh ghostly looking  husband with the white face,

The  photos.I can't stop looking at them.

I keep thinking OMG he is just 3 yrs and a bit .Scared the crap out of me ...

So if you know of friends with pools please tell them to be careful-I know I couldn't bear to lose

my Little Man evan though he is a terror some days.

Hello Sweet Sunday

Hello Sunday

As you all know I haven't slept properly for what seems likes years ago(yes I am exaggerating ha ha )

Anyway I did nothing different on Sat but by 10.00pm I needed to go to bed,

Kev was shocked as you all know it is usually early mornings for me to go to bed.

So off to dream world  at 10pm and dream I did till 3am -THAT'S 5  HOURS  can you believe it.Then I just slept up and down till 6.00am and thought ok time to get up..

So because  I had a good night sleep we thought we would  just hang around the house don't jinx anything and just relax and take it easy...

And relax is what we did.....

Gotta make the beer....

All cleaned up now and Kev puts the finishing touches to LM face,

He shaves his cheeks.

Now before you reach for the phone to call Doc's Kevin has been doing this since LM was 1and a bit year old.

It is an old empty razor,Kev just puts a bit of shave soap on LM  face and "shaves " him.LM loves it then proceeds to put deodorant on like Da and brush his teeth like Da ,I think the LM is lucky to have someone like Kev who is very particular about his personal hygeine that he can follow him...

OMG you should hear the performance if Kev is running late etc and can't do it...

Yeah he was quiet so I sneaked into the bathroom and here LM is putting water in his water pistal.ha ha ha No don't get me LM go get Da...NO get Da not me .....said a wet mummy and laughing LM

Kev found these white shelves in Target and got me some,I put all my glimmer mists in some and bits and pieces in others ,Ok for $5 each,

Eating lunch.Has anyone noticed that the LM only wears boxer shorts.He says it is too hot for shorts.He likes these because he just rips them off and Wham he is in the pool.

Auntie Pam gave him a old  camera of hers ,It has kept him happy all weekend.Thanks Pam

Thank God Kerry came home for tea she managed to settle him abit.at least he went to bed ok
