Ashley's car

I did say we had 2 lots of terrible news and this is the second one,

Poor Ashley his pride and joy his Datsun ute was stolen on Friday night.

Now what sort of animal takes something off a kid.I mean he is a good hardworking kid who's doesn't do drugs or cause trouble.

He goes to work -and tafe will finish his apprenticeship in January 2012.

He saves his money or puts it into doing up his car.

Poor kid was shattered on Friday when he rang us.

Then on Sunday we get a call from him''They have found his car "
Apparently someone who knows Ash saw it in the factory complex and went to Ashley house and told him where it was.A big thank you to this man.


The animals had taken his wheels ripped out the interior and stereo,

So now we wait to see what the insurance company are going to do.


And to the animals who did this................
I just hope that Karma comes and bites you on your arse..
You are disgusting to do this to a really nice kid...

Bunnies score for Sunday...

Just a little extra regarding my wonderful Bunnies.

Little Bunnie

Go South Sydney.....

The Little Man and I are Rabbitoh fans-just love them.I don't like the footy but I do remember my grandfather  supporting the bunnies while I was growing up .So it is nice to be a fan as well because it somehow makes me feel nearer to Pop.

When the LM was born I continually sang the club's song over and over  to him wether he was awake or asleep it was sung and without fail if the LM was crying my song would calm him right down and he would stop..

The songs starts as Gory Glory to South Sydney -repeat etcI changed the last line to  "Little mans going to be a rabbitoh".
I will say this about the song though it will drive anyone close to you crazy ....I know this for a fact.....If I start singing it now I get "Oh No not again"

When LM was smaller we took him to his first footy game.
South Sydney against the Canterbury Bulldogs which happens to be Kev and his family team BOO BOO.

Can't remember who won but at least I got cute photos of my boys.
It was funny as we were walking around as Kev was in blue and white Bulldog colours.The LM was dressed in his red and green Bunnies colours.
Well people keep stopping us to ask which team he was going for and how cute the LM looked.

So I found this photo the other day and it brought back some happy  memories and made me smile so  I thought I would share it with you.

AC/DC Monopoly

I am so excited YEAH Whoop whoop ....................... get the idea....

Mum heard on the TV the other morning that they have released a collectors edition of Monopoly based on AC/DC.
Well my heart skipped a beat and I was determined to get one for Kevin,I thought I would give it to him for fathers day.

So off I go -net surfing and there she was in all her AC/DC glory just waiting for me to buy her .

Then I get this great idea.

Kevin's eldest son is also a AC/DC fan and his birthday is fast approaching so being the nice person (uh vomit) that I am I ordered one for him as well..

I was real proud of myself  for not mentioning it to Kev when he called later that day - but sorry I couldn't keep my mouth shut when I saw him - so I spilled the beans blah blah blah

I seem to have this habit of not being able to keep a secret regarding presents.

Kev stood there with his cheeky  little smile on looking at me so I know I did the right thing .

So now I can't wait till they arrive so we can invite Alan and Lisa over (they came to the AC/DC concert with us last year) and get the boys some beer and have a High Voltage evening of AC/DC  fun.

 Oh no Kev's got that smile on again and said we may even have some Dirty Deeds later on

.God he thinks he is funny.(but secretly I laughed.)

Hello -I am sorry I haven't been here posting but it has been so good having mum around that I just haven't had time to do anything.

Mum and John went home yesterday BOO WHOO......
So I am going through all the photos we took to put them in order so then I can post them.

The Little Man had his party on Sunday and  the weather was wonderful until the animal nursery came -then it started to sprinkle.

We moved it to a undercover area so problem solved....

For all the LM 's whinging about having a piggy for his party he was scared of it...But at least he settled enough so he could give piggy a bottle.

Wednesday shopping

Shopping today ..yeah

First we went to the markets and did the rounds there.I bought heaps of bits for LM party.
Then we got my favorite thing from the market-hot chips with vinegar-OMG they were good.

Next over to the plaza and did more shopping.

I bought more party bits  and I also bought this....

A new bed liner for Bonnie.Doesn't she look cute.It is sheepskin on top

so she should stay quite warm.

Lucky for me she loves it..

Yummy Tuesday

What a great day....

First I got into some cooking and boy did my house smell good but the best thing that happened was my mother and father arrived
at lunch time.They are staying till next Tuesday yeah...

It is so good having them around.

Kev took them to daycare to pick up the LM .He went all shy lucky it only lasted a little while and now we can't shut him up.

Anyway before they arrived I did my  cooking....I made....

First I made some yummy chocolate chip cookies for mum and john.

For some reason they went a bit flat but hey I can't be perfect all the time.ha ha

Next was Kev's favorite a carrot and walnut cake.

I don't like carrot  cake- I mean carrots are vegetables you can't disguise them as cake.Once a veggie always a veggie.

 But Kev and mum and john did and it is Kev's favorite cake.(being a suck up he he he)

But the icing was yum.....

I even made a vanilla cake so I can make my cake pops tomorrow.

Fingers crossed they will turn out.

Ebay win

I am so happy ,I have been looking for this kind of cupboard for awhile and today I won it on ebay ...

Isn't she pretty and such cute legs.I would have paid more but got her for $63

Now I  wanted her because of the below picture.So keep your looking here  because

I  can't wait to do this to her.Then she will have pride of place in the bar room for Kev.

Party countdown

Here it is on a beautiful Monday and I am cleaning out drawers and my craft room (yuck what a job)it seems to be a dumping ground for
everything that doesn't have a proper place to live .

Oh well it happens.

I went to the Target toy sale last week and have bought most of the LM's presents for Christmas and also bought  all of my nieces and nephew's even the baby's not born yet (due Jan) .

It feels so good knowing I don't need to go present shopping at Christmas time I can stay at home and relax .ha ha

The only thing with getting all these presents now in July is where to put them.......Well you are right they are in the Craft room.ha ha ha

Well it is only 5 days till the party so I am madly cooking up  little treats and bits and pieces.

So today I made

Tiny Teddy Cars how yum.

Well this is all you need to make them.

Tiny teddy biscuit's( I used 2 little packs)

Milky way-this was a snack bag that had 18 chocolates in it.

Smarties -Kev bought a bag but I think that was a cheeky way for him to get  the leftovers because

a box would have done.

Once again I used candy melts to stick them together.If you can get these they dry really fast so

no sitting there holding bits on.

Just a little tip when making these Teddy's  because they are self explanatory to make but when you put the Teddy on cut a

bit off the bottom of Teddy to make it level put whatever you are using to stick with

and push the Teddy in just a little bit.

He He He ....Aren't they cute....Beep Beep

There were  18 Teddy's but the LM begged me for one.

He told me I was the best mummy ever while he was stuffing his face with chocolate.

So I think he meant it ha ha

Now who can have a party without chocolate crackles.

Except Kev likes real chocolate crackles which mean I used chocolate buttons ,coconut,

and of  course rice bubbles.

At first I thought he was mad but trust me there is a difference  so now I

only make Kev's crackles.

Tea cups

I have seen these little cuties around and thought one day I am going to make them.

Well  today is one day.

So after the LM went to bed I sat down with Kev and we did these in around 15mins-not bad hey.

You will need .....

musk lifesavers 1 packet
marshmallows-1 packet
freckles
and tic tock biscuits.

I used candy melts to stick them together but you can use icing or even melted white chocolate.

The above made 28 tea cups.

Well it is  only a week till the Little Mans birthday party and I better get a move on or else we will be eating pizza hut on the day ha ha ha

Boring Weekend

Thought I would show you some photos of our weekend .We did nothing  out of the ordinary but were just on the go all
the weekend.

Some photo's are boring some are good.I love the boy and the Honda photo.I can't believe how much he loves that car ha ha.

Day started off freezing and I mean freezing.

LM wanted to go outside and help Kerry wash her car in the freezing weather

So I made he wear his pirate gum boots.He looked so cute.

I was lucky Kevin made me a yummy hot chocolate in my new coffee cup.

OMG when LM came back inside he put Kev's shoes on and was pretending

to be Kev.

It was so funny as he kept falling over and couldn't walk in them...

Here is Kerry's car all clean.

She had lent it to friends so it could be used for a wedding.

I cleaned out my pantry as mum is coming down and I want things perfect as can be.

Today I bought a few banana's.It cost me nearly $6 for 3.

Anyway I didn't care the LM really loves fruit and these are a favorite.

I also love them so I had a banana sandwich and OMG it was good,

I don't know if it was good because I haven't had one in months but who cares or good because it cost so much.ha ha

Can't forget my stash of aspro.

Even though I am still on morphine dailythese work so good and fast-LOVE THEM....

I had to put away my latest order of wound care.

What you see here is $200 worth and will last about 3 weeks if I am lucky.

Well 6 days till LM's party and I haven't decided on a cake yet.

So out came old faithful to give me a few ideas.

I used this book for Kerry when she was little for her's and others birthday cakes.This brought back memories.

 And now I see they have been reprinted and are in the shops .

I wanted my outdoor setting oiled as it needed it .Of course I left it to the last moment.

So poor Kevin  said ok he will do it today.

Now I thought it would take a couple of hours

WRONG

 First it needed to be cleaned up.

This is Kevin's idea of washing it down.A high pressure hose.

Problem was it took off most of the varnish

so.................

He went to Bunnings and bought this sander to get the varnish off faster.

Da can I have a go..........

and finally he was allowed.

A very happy boy in the HONDA.....

This tent kept him occupied for ages....

And me I finished my day with my trusty vacuum.

Yeah it never ends does it.
