I have had this bird house for ages probably around 15 years ...
When I got it I really loved it and Kevin put it in the garden on a stick and it was perfect.
I found this picture of my birdhouse when we first put it in the garden....
No garden or big trees yet....
A couple of years later and she still is beautiful and still look great ...
Actually the plants look great too ....
Well now the poor little birdhouse has rotten timber in parts and is looking really sad.
Kev replaced the rotten base and a couple of the panels .He found this green paint we had in the garage and gave her a couple of coats ,she was starting to shine now...
The best part was Kev found some mini orb that we had used in our bar room so he decided the house needed an iron roof and OMG did it make a difference.....
What a difference it all made.
My beautiful birdhouse sits proudly now in the garden....
Kev even cut some branches off the trees to show the house off more and also to satisfy his obsession with trimming and cutting down my trees Urghh but that's another story...
So here she sits beautiful and proud hopefully for a few more years yet.....
