Happy Birthday Milly

It was Milly's birthday party on the weekend and the LM was so excited at going.

He loved the idea of fancy dress so he went as Batman.He didn't want to wear socks and said
"Batman don't wear socks" i said they do if they are told to -he wore socks and looked so cute..

Scobby Doo was there via Milly's dad Ben.Doesn't he look good?

Although I heard later that night he fell down the stairs and hurt himself.

Too many Scobby Snacks ???

A boy a man and a coconut

I keep telling you that the LM is crazy well the other day he asked for a coconut.Yes a coconut we thought he was joking but he went on and on and on....

So Kev got him a coconut.

He punched holes in it so they could have a drink

This was good said Kev but the LM didn't like it.

Yeah this looks clever 1 and a half men and the little one is swinging a hammer.

Well somehow they cracked it and now they are eating coconut.

Yes I am clever to get what i want ha ha

But I still don't like coconut....

What have we been doing....

What have we been up to lately.

Not much....I didn't realise it's been  awhile since I last posted.

So aren't you lucky you get to look at some photos.Whoop Whoop!

Using Grahame's lap top or should i say LM"s computer.

Sharon took these of the LM and Grahame  while they were down looking after her mum.

Apparently she did have cancer in her kidney  but luckily they got it all out.So thanks to those

who stood by Kev at this time.

So now she just needs to see them (doctors) again for a check up but at the moment the docs are happy with how it is looking.

On last Sunday we headed off to the park so LM could show mw how he rides his bike.

Holy Moly  he dosn't ride he flies.

I was that worried.

Just like a duck he likes puddles....Quack

My Lavender

 I love lavender always have. Anyway I was going out last week and noticed how

the front tub of lavender was filling up with buds-BLISS.

Then just on Saturday I noticed how full it was of now beautiful purple

flowers.The scent as you walk past is breathtaking.

I love this pot and it puts a smile on my face so after all I have been through and 

still going through- this is a good thing

Do you know how Kerry?

One of Kerry's friends is due to give birth anyday now.
And she is showing all signs of late trimester tiredness ect...

Anyway LM calls her daughter Little Charlie all the time.
She is 3 and quite a cutie and I love how LM calls her this.Hey get back to what I wanted to talk to you about-ha ha

Well we were telling him Little Charlie's mummy had a baby in her tummy.
HOW DID IT GET THERE? WHY DID IT GO IN THERE.? CAN IT GET OUT ?

Too many questions for this old lady...I dont know LM  ask Kerry when she comes home...

DID SHE SWALLOW A BABY IS THAT HOW ?......


I said ask Kerry....
Well nothing had been said to Kerry till last night.

LM told  Kerry about Little Charlie mummys having a baby
Kerry just smiled.Oh how cute is LM....

This is the conversation that followed between them

LM-She ate the baby.

Kerry -WHAT..
LM-Yeah she ate the baby now its in her tummy.

Kerry-Uh

LM-Don't you know how the baby got in her tummy?
 Don't you know how to have a baby Kerry?

Kerry-silence.

Last Sunday.

Well it was our nephew Trey's birthday this week- he turned The Big 2..

 So we dropped over his present and Kevin and I said we were going to take the 3 boys (LM-Trey and Zeke) to Lollipop's for an hour or so but poor Trey wasn't feeling the best so it was just the two of them who came with us.

School Photo 2011

Kev brought the Little Mans school photo's home today and let me tell you .

He is SO cute,(till he opens his mouth )  ha ha ha

Looks like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth .

Wrong -but he is mine and I love him.

Just another little thing he has started doing is-When I call Kev to come and help me LM rushes in and says "it's me Little Kevin what do you want?" he then calls himself  Little Kevin for the rest of the day and that is so funny...

Thinking of you Muriel

This post is for my mother in law-- Kevin's mum.

I mentioned last week about her being ill -Well today is the big day.

At 1.30pm she will be operated on and we will know a couple of hours later how she is and what happens next.

So good luck  Muriel and remember all our prayers and thoughts are with you today.
I know Kev is very uptight about it as I know Pam and Sharon will be the same but you will be fine.Too many people care about you.

You will back to being  so many things to so many people.Going to soccer again (how exciting) and still going  for The Bulldogs-(cant change that one hey...)And giving the grandkids chocolates or having chocolate biscuits on hand.(LM loves this but hey Ashley still does as well)

We are all wishing you well so  we will see you later tonight.
And don't worry I won't bring my camera and take photos.......

Fairy Bread

Today I have just a little post for you-

Can you make fairy bread look any more cuter than how it looks now?

Well yes you can and also more yummable.
I read this handy hint in the Doctors the other week and yesterday the Little Man and I did some fairy bread magic.....(don't expect anything toooo magic this is just a little cute...)

Spread your bread with butter

Next choose your favorite biscuit cutter and put on the bread and press shape out,

We used a heart and a weird looking Mickey Mouse head cutter.I got 2 of the Micky heads  from one slice of bread but you get the idea.

Once they are cut out give the sprinkles to the fairy helper beside you and let them cover the bread shapes.
I must have forgot to tell my fairy helper not to make a mess because we had fairy sprinkles in some really weird places and a lot around his mouth.

Aren't these so cute.....

I guess it does look Mickey mouse head (if you couldn't see  ) But who cares

the Little Man loves them so we are going to get more cutters Yeah and do some more.

Even just make a normal Vegemite and cheese sandwich (yeah I know yuck but LM loves it)

and cut out your favorite shape on.

You just made a boring sandwich MAGIC.

Cold Friday

It's Friday and it's freezing.Not cold but freezing.....

The little Man said he isn't getting of bed today he is too cold.

"Look Dee I have purple toes" Yep it's that type of cold...

And so with  that comment the LM snuggled back down in my bed and

proceeded to watch cartoons...

                                                                   

Little Dragons

Last week the Little Man started Little Dragons.

What is that you ask??? Well he is now doing karate and Little Dragons is the 4-6yr age group.

Karl goes here and I think he has his black belt now so maybe one day that could be the Little Man.....If his instructors can handle him for that long ha ha

When he came home he could only remember one thing...

The Stance.

OMG how scary looking is he.

I hope I never run into him in a dark alley...

Too cute for words....

The next day as they were  going to day care  LM asked Kev "why did I go to  little dragons?"

                           "Well you were wrong " was his reply.Kev said he had to really try hard not to
 laugh as  LM sounded so serious.
                  
                          Today we said to him "your going to Little Dragons today."
                                                "Yeah  I want to go now" he said.
