Whats green and goes tic tock?

My re vamped  kitchen clock is the answer......(yes I know I am pathetic) ha ha

I have had this beautiful wooden clock for years and love it. It was quite expensive when I bought it as this style had just came in and was the "trend" at the time. ( 'time'.. get it time joke ha ha )

Now you can get a clock like this  for an unbelievable low price ...

As I decided to change around my kitchen a bit (small changes at a time Dee take it slow)(take a breath ha ha )the clock I thought needed a revamp as well...

My colours in the kitchen -well the accessories were Indian red (a darkish red-maroon ) .I wanted it all to be fresh and bright so I am changing the walls to white and my bits will be green ....So my clock was going to be green...

Not a soft pretty green no no no it was going to be apple green...

So out came the tape and I taped up the face and then took a big breath and got the spray paint out and let go.........

OMG as I was painting it I keep thinking what have I done? Kev is going to kill me....What if I don't like it...........

                                Can't change my mind now.............
I shouldn't have worried as I love it....really love it....Kev just said "why" when I told him the rest of my plans he just shook his head and walked way.....

My mum asked if that was the colour or the under coat.?....

LM said "I like green"...

Kev just gave me the "look"....

So up she goes and my clock looks great  and you wont believe where we put it ...

Yep we put in it the LM's room.It was in the kitchen but I just didn't like it there so LM asked if it could go into his room and Wow it suits it perfectly....
