Park bench multi colour..

I have had this garden seat for years,you know the kind ...timber oil it every year blah blah blah

Well I decided I needed to change it.We are in the process of relaying our pavers around the pool and the garden is getting all juzzied up so why not the bench.....

When Kevin had the primer out to spray some other bits I got him to spray the bench much easier than hand brushing it Yuck all those slats....

 

Once the primer was dry out came the spray paint and I decided on teal blue.."TEAL BLUE" yep it thought I have seen heaps done in this colour so I thought I'd try it....

MISTAKE.......

I hate the colour blue so even when I was spraying this I kept thinking its ok its ok....

But it wasn't.....

Then Kevin came out and just shook his head "blue " "you don't like blue I thought you would have done it yellow"

YELLOW......

mmm sounds good and yes I do like yellow at the moment.So out came the yellow spray paint....

MISTAKE......

I hated it.....don't know why as I do like yellow but it just didn't seem right...

Time to think what will it be maybe I should have left it wood.....

 

The it hit me just do it white.....

 

It will look really good white against the plants and it will just blend in but still look really good..So I called out to Kev and told him what I was going to do he just shook his head...

 

We ended up spraying this white as it was faster and I hate slats so in 15mins it was all done just needed to dry...Kev did say to me it would have been a lot easier to do if I hadn't painted it all those other colours but it still covered really well and yes it looked perfect...

Love it .....now to finish the pavers ,garden and OMG that church bird house needs some attention but that's another story....
