Candy Garland Christmas Craft 2

Today we made a candy garland....

Talk about easy even the LM made one...

You will need

String.
needle.
red and white beads- I bought a jar of red and white mixed beads in Spotlight.
red felt.
white felt.
glue sticks...

 Cut your felt into strips my were about 1cm wide.....

 

To start off cut a long piece of string the length you want your garland to be...

Thread a bead to the end and double knot it...

Now thread a few beads onto the string add as many as you want...

Get your felt and with the red side on the bottom fold it around to make a candy...

Now thread it onto  the string...

Don't worry about any extra felt  you will glue that down later ....

Repeat making your candy then threading it onto the string then putting more beads on until the end..

When you have finished your garland end it the way you started with a bead and double knot it...

Now cut off the extra felt and using your hot glue stick it down to tidy it all up...

I made mine about 12 candys long...

The LM did really good at making his...
